Labour activist 'warned' about pursuing rape claim

Bex Bailey said she was told reporting the 2011 incident could "damage" her and that she was given no advice on what she should do next.
She told the BBC she had waived her anonymity to urge changes to the way such cases are handled.
Labour said it had launched an independent investigation.
This will look at "claims that a party employee acted improperly over these 2011 allegations", the party said.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said Ms Bailey had shown "incredible bravery" in speaking out and said she had his "full support and solidarity".more

This year's Great British Bake Off winner has been revealed on Channel 4 - 11 hours after judge Prue Leith accidentally let it slip on Twitter.

Sophie Faldo triumphed over Kate Lyon and Steven Carter-Bailey in the final after wowing the judges with her seven-layered, honey bee-themed entremet showstopper.
However the outcome had been spoiled for some fans when Prue earlier mistakenly tweeted: "Bravo Sophie".
She apologised and explained that she had been confused by the time difference because she was in Bhutan.moremore

What is graphic design?

This kind of design is often confused with illustration, but while an illustrator creates or draws an image in response to an idea, a designer combines illustrations, photographs, and type in order to communicate an idea. One way to understand this is to consider the difference between a furniture maker and an interior designer. One makes a specific object for a specific purpose, while the other thinks about how all of the objects and surfaces of a room create an environment for the person moving through it. Good illustrators are often capable designers and vice versa, making it harder to distinguish between the two practices.

A cricket stadium dubbed the "Lords of Africa" is set to open in one of the unlikeliest locations imaginable.

Former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan and South Africa's Herschelle Gibbs joined the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, at a reception ahead of Saturday's opening.
England T20 player Sam Billings, also at the opening, called the facilities "world class".
Billings is taking part in a charity T20 match at the stadium on Saturday, alongside Vaughan and Trinidadian batting legend Brian Lara.
The stadium has been built with the help of a British charity, the Rwanda Cricket Stadium Foundation (RCSF), the Rwanda Cricket Association (RCA) and President Paul Kagame's government.
The pavilion is designed to look like the path of a bouncing cricket ball, and the rolling hills of Rwanda.

The game is growing fast in Rwanda and RCSF's director, 27-year-old Alby Shale, said the stadium could move the sport into the "fast lane".
